Health issues in Britain

After this class, I want to identify what is the different health system between with UK and Taiwan?
People can go to see the doctor when they are ill in UK. But, there are many problems in this social organization. Although they can see the doctor by free, the patient always wait the longest time to see doctor than other countries.
If you want to say what is unfair, I think class system is unfair. High-class people, they can live in luxury, and they can get the best medical care. On the other hand, lower-class they can not get it. So, I say it is not fair in UK.
I often go to hospital in Taiwan, because my first job is an insurance salesman. We can go to see the doctor usually, because Taiwan is the only one country has the " Bureau of National Health Insurance "http://www.nhi.gov.tw/english/index.asp. Everyone takes their NHI IC Card, they can go to the hospital anytime. And they always bring many medicines, so it waste social cost. But, we can see the doctor anytime is our advantage.

Education in Britain - Homeschooling

According the magazines, newspapers, and Internet information, we can know there are many home schooling or home education in Great Britain. Home schooling, it is the children of education at home. Home schooling is a ideal for parents who wish to give their children with a different learning environment than exists in public schools.
In my opinion, I can differentiate between advantages of home schooling and disadvantages of home education. I want to introduce what is different between the two items.

ADVANTAGES:
1. SAVE THE TIME
Parents always think they do not waste the time to pick their children up to the school.
2. BETTER TEXTBOOKS
Public school texts may support all the humanistic false beliefs we have mentioned. They never support or defend Biblical teaching, respect for God, etc. In home schools, excellent texts are available that advocate pure values.
3. BETTER ACADEMIC EDUCATION
Reports have the amount of documented that students often graduate from public schools even though they have little skill in reading, writing, and arithmetic. In home schools, parents work with their own children directly. They see immediately if the child is not learning well, so they can take action to solve the problem.

DISADVANTAGES:
1. WASTE THE TIME
Parents must pick their children up to the school every day, and it is time wasting.
2. COST
Parents choose to home school, because the public schools which can cost includes costs for field trips, computer software, and materials for projects, as well as the many other resources available to parents

Halloween

Halloween is a special day for the western world, it is for children and youngsters. Halloween is a holiday on October 31st. Most children dress up in costumes and go "Trick-or-Treat" by walking around to different houses and asking for candy.
November 1 was called “Feast of All Saints” by the Roman Catholic Church in the 9th century, and November 2nd was called “Feast of All Souls”.
Today, a safe Halloween is being sought. Many Halloween decorations are cute. Parents take their children to shopping malls for ”Trick-or-Treating,” and private parties have become the norm.

Symmetrical Families

From 1950s people in UK who lived a poor life, because World War II just finished at that time. So, the tendency appeared to be towards more unclear families, more women working and smaller family size. Since late 1970s there are many things changed such as household structures and family forms, hence parents focus on taking their children.
Although many people live normally, parts of people they can not choose their life such as a whore, a male prostitute, a vagrant etc. They can not give their children the comfortable life.
Generally speaking, everyone life a happiness life in UK.

After I came to U.K, I miss my family very much, and I miss my grandmother especially. After World War II, the society in Taiwan is like UK. Because Chiang Kai-shek lose Mao Zedong, he took many Chinese ran away from to Taiwan. In other word, Taiwan was occupied by Chinese.
The economy was very wonderful in Taiwan at that moment, but it changed while Chinese came to Taiwan. So, I often say: Taiwan is not part of China !!!!
Maybe you consider it is too ridiculous why I write this above about Taiwan and China.
I can describe " this is my family style" In my house, family. I often talk about political, sports, other news to my grandmother, farther, mother, cousins, and sister.
There are 21 people in my house, we are big family in Taiwan. But, nowadays more and more people don't like this family life, because they think they want to hold their free. So, the birth-rate is declining in Taiwan every year.
In fact, I didn't live with my parent because they want to stay in Kaohsiung. I live in Taipei, and my family members are in Taipei. I don't understand why my parent choose to stay in Kaohsiung? However, I just want to say do you know what is family? the answer is Family And Mother I Love You!!!

Families size

In British families and householders at the end of the 21th century have been complex society. Today,it become to the types of household within people live: one-person; cohabiting; families with children and families without; step families; lone parents--whether divorced or never-married; gay and lesbian couples; pensioners. In the other hand, many many families are unclear families. The big families are no more,because everyone wants their own life. The population of U.K has grown throughout the century but at a declining rate. Between 1901 and 1911 the average growth rate of the U.K population averaged 1% per year. Between 1981 and 1991 the average growth rate of the population had fallen to about 0.26% per year. 1996 based projections suggests that the population in the U.K will continue to grow into the next century; by 2021 it is projected to rise to 62244000*62244000.
Nowadays,more and more elderly people in U.K are alone.Nobody want to take care of him or her, even if their children, because the society is more complex than in the past. The most impact in U.K is " WHERE IS THE TRADITIONAL? " I believe British same as other countries, it should have it's tradition. But, we don't know where is it ? Hence, if it lose that in U.K, maybe more and more older men would not be take care. It is terrible !!
